Tobin Family Volunteer Fair is Saturday, Nov 4
Our 12th Annual Tobin Family of Schools Volunteer Fair is just around the corner! This year’s Family Volunteer Fair will be held on Saturday, November 4th from to am to 1 pm. While community service has always been an important part of our work with children and families, this annual event is a great chance to join together as a family, right here at Tobin, for a fun-filled day of child-friendly community service activities to support a variety of great causes!
This year’s event will feature old favorites (making dog biscuits for Buddy Dog Humane Society or selling refreshments for Alex’s Lemonade Stand) and new activities (making tissue paper sun catchers for Nursing Home Residents and creating “playdough in a jar” kits for children served by Heartplay in Wayland, along with activities supporting the great work of the American Red Cross). We hope you will mark this special date on your calendar and come join us! Admission is FREE with a suggested donation of your leftover Halloween candy for the troops via Operation Gratitude. Small cash donations and proceeds from special silent auction of TCS and TS class made projects will support hurricane victims through the American Red Cross. You can find more information on our flyer here.
Pulling off such a big event requires a lot of hands. If you’re willing to donate some supplies toward our projects or spend some time helping us at a station the day of the event, click here to find out what we need and how you can help. Thanks in advance for your support!
